Capitol Academy 120 – State Leadership: An Insider’s View

Recently I was selected to be 1 of 9 local elected official to attend the third annual "Capitol Academy 120" at the California State Capital. the which gives elected local officials a rare behind-the-scenes look at how Sacramento really works from the viewpoints of legislators, policymakers, lobbyists, and campaign operatives.  Thanks to the excellent program, I now know much more about the nuts and bolts of lawmaking and campaigning at the state level.
